3Shape Face Scanning
The new 3Shape Dental Face Scanning solution allows the dentist or lab to visualize and interactively update the planned dental treatment with the patient. This enables improved esthetics, upscale of treatments and improved patient satisfaction. The pre-treatment visualization is achieved by combining 3D scans of the patient's face and teeth, and importing these into 3Shape's Dental System. The design and esthetics of the planned dental treatment can be visualized in one session, interactively updated and reviewed with the patient and dentist.
This interactive dialogue results in improved patient satisfaction and higher value treatments. Compared to traditional diagnostic wax-ups, the face scanning
solution enables superior 3D treatment visualization and ability to interactively update the design with the patient.
After preparation the complete CAD design is directly transferred to the prepared scan, significantly reducing cost and turnaround time.
