DTS and Core3dcentres joined The Dental Technology Showcase for another amazing event on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd of April at the NEC, Birmingham. This was the UK’s largest free to attend, education and trade event for this profession.
We were among more than 80 exhibitors this year; we made sure to stand out from the crowd by showcasing our Intra-oral scanners and new materials! We made sure everyone we met understood exactly what we meant by Dentistry Today, Not Dentistry for the Future. Thank you to everyone who came to visit us over the weekend!

We love having a local event where we can meet all our customers and colleagues in the dental industry that would otherwise take months to organise. We love showing off our new products and materials: the shows really are the perfect way to let our customers try out our oral scanners.
This year we ran a competition for the fastest oral scan, taken by the marketing leading 3Shape Trios 3, and loads of people got to try out the amazing software.
We can't wait for next year already!

SKYN CONCEPT is developed by Paulo Kano and Livio Yoshinaga and is a full clinical treatment concept, as well as lab workflow utilising natural dentition and CAD/CAM systems. SKYN CONCEPT is a perfect balance of Art & Science, where the dentist and the technician will speak the same language. Patients benefit from the SKYN CONCEPT by interacting with the dentist, helping to choose their smile style and being able to quickly change the mockup as each tooth is individually positioned.

At DTS we believe our continued training and support from our unique industry standpoint is what makes us more than just a dental lab. Last week we hosted an event on 3Shape’s Implant Studio software system. This digital implant planning and surgical guide solution makes implant procedures simpler and more predictable.
We helped provide dentists with an understanding of how Implant Studio can assist in every day practice whilst also discussing what our customer’s experiences of the software were so far. Laurence Kabba, from 3Shape, was on hand to provide an overview of implant studio, features & benefits and how to use the software for successful pre-planning of implant surgery.

The SKYN Concept follows on from Digital Smile design to truly deliver a natural smile through cad cam techniques. The SKYN concepts draws from naturally beautiful smile libraries and mixes them the ability of replication by precision CAD/CAM techniques to deliver a unique and achievable smile for your patient time after time. For the first time, in-mouth mock-ups and diagnostics can be exactly replicated using advanced milling of highly aesthetic dental ceramics, increasing patient acceptance and recommendation.
Core3dcenters facility in Maartensdijk will be holding the SKYN concept course from the 25th till the 27th of November.
This 3 day course will demonstrate true emotional dentistry and how to achieve better patient treatment acceptance through live patient mock up and treatment planning using the most advanced CAD/CAM equipment in the industry. Hosted by Core3d and presented by Livio Yoshinaga and Paulo Kano, two of the most respected dental lecturers currently in the circuit. This invitation only event will also guide attendees on the options for in surgery equipment like oral scanning and in house milling, followed by actual hands on experience of scanners, milling and 3d printing within the Core3dcentres facility.
The SKYN concept is the perfect balance between art and science. It’s a new way to make ceramic restorations using CAD/CAM technology that allows you to extract maximum precision, quality and speed. The concept combines predictability and practicality by replacing the natural teeth morphology. We look forward with sharing this new way of achieving great results with our customers . If you wish further details or wish to attend this event or others like it being held in Core3dcentres around the world please contact us for more information.
