DTS stands out at BACD event with new 3D face scanner
Now in its sixth year the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s (BACD) conference is certainly one to mark on your calendar. Step 1: Sit your patient in front of the scanner and it will create a 3D image of the patients face.
Step 2: Now you can add the treatment to the patient’s 3D digital face where you can choose product, size and shade.
Step 3: Once you and your patient are happy with the final 3D design simply import the design into the laboratory Dental System where the final product is created.
Step 4: Finally your patient will get exactly what they agreed too with diagnostic image.
The scanning of your patients face is just the beginning of an intricate process designed to maximise your efficiency, deliver high quality results and reduce turnaround time.
The new digital process is smoother allowing time saving and a fuller communication flow. This more advanced technique provides technicians with a higher, more complete, information flow which helps them to create a more aesthetic and accurate fitting tooth overall.
