How does Opalite© differ from other crowns?
You can prescribe Opalite© with confidence. It is made from one solid block of monolithic, solid, medical grade Zirconia which means it's virtually impossible to break. Unlike the traditional Zirconia Frameworks where you use Zirconia as a base and build up your porcelain on top of it Opalite© is All-Zirconia – so there is no porcelain overlay.
How does Opalite© compare in the mouth?
Unlike traditional Zirconia frameworks Opalite© crowns & bridges require no porcelain layer. This allows them to fit in an occlusal reduction as small as 0.7mm, far less than standard PFM or layered Zirconia/porcelain. It is also biocompatible and provides your patient with a solution which will last them for years and years.
Is Opalite© aesthetic?
DTS has been working closely with other leading laboratories across the world to develop the translucency of Zirconia. Now we have developed it so we can offer you a more attractive posterior non-metal option, with the exceptional strength posterior applications need. The final crown or bridge is also glazed to a smooth, plaque resistant surface to complete the look.

Opalite© is future-proof. Every crown and/or bridge is designed with digital CAD/CAM technology, so they can be designed from your own digital impression files as well as traditional impressions and models.
