At DTS our Core Zirconia Abutments are designed with Smile Designs and our unique Abutment Design software powered by 3Shape. Our design technique is tried and tested and is one of the most effective methods used today to create the best finished results. We use the “top-down approach” which means first of all we design the full contour then we design our abutments within the space created.

Our abutments can be made from either titanium or Zirconia. Zirconia is extremely popular as it's more aesthetic and biocompatible than titanium so it can provide your patient with an excellent smile. For example, if there is a thin soft tissue in the anterior region there will be some shine through of the abutment and there will be an unwanted graining of the tissue when you use a titanium abutment. The acceptance of Zirconia by the soft tissue results in a connection between the two over time, leaving your patient with a strong, secure, beautiful, natural-looking tooth.
