Lava
Lava™ crowns and bridges combine superior strength and durability coupled with excellent esthetics. Available in eight shades for natural shade matching. Utilizing an innovative CAD/CAM technology, Lava crowns and bridges are produced on a zirconium-oxide glass-free polycrystalline base that result in high-strength, reliable restorations with excellent esthetics and an outstanding marginal fit suitable for both anterior and posterior applications. Preparations require minimal removal of tooth structure and conventional cementation techniques.
Lava™ Copings
Lava™ zirconia oxide copings can withstand stresses many times greater than those that occur in patients' mouths. Lava anterior copings can be fabricated as thin as 0.3 mm. Single unit crowns and bridges with a maximum length of 38mm. Porcelains that can be used to overlay Lava™ copings include: Dentsply's Cercon Ceram S and Noritake's Cerabien CZR
